Instagram Feature: Restricting Someone’s Account That You Don’t Like
To activate this function, simply follow these steps:
1. Go to the profile you want to restrict.
2. Tap the 3-dot button
3. Tap Restrict.
4. And Hit Restrict Account.
5. With this feature enabled, the restricted account’s direct messages would be moved to request, so even if you opened them, they won’t be able to tell that you’ve read them. Additionally, you can also control whether their comments show up to others on your post. It’s an extremely useful feature to clean up your feed, so do try it once the need arises!
